I've tried this before, but I am going to try again.
I want to record some of the unique things I have experienced before they fade from memory. According to a travel writing book I read recently there are two criteria to being a travel writer: 1) you have to want to be a writer and 2) you have to write.
I define travel for these purposes as 'not at home' and 'not at work' - everything else. Public transport, weekend getaways, visiting distant lands, etc. I am going to try to include my close tie with technology as a player in my descriptions.
So. In no particular order, here are some stories that I find amusing or touching and hopefully others may find entertaining or just plain interesting.
